In developing countries around the world, Christians living in extreme poverty are often targets of extortion and persecution - even in these modern times, some are killed or tortured for simply taking the name of Christ upon their lips. More often than not, many brothers and sisters face imprisonment under false accusations from disgruntled or prejudiced neighbors. If legal representation is not acquired, they will face sentencing based solely on the prosecution’s witness. Through your generous support, we can help provide legal defense and obtain justice for the oppressed.
“seek justice, relieve the oppressed”

Update April 29th, 2022:
The Family debt has been paid in full and a court document signed by the local judge has been issued detailing the complete and total release of the family from bondage. This is a very joyous occasion. The document states that no party involved will be able to take legal action against the other and nothing more is owed.
In conclusion of this project, allow me once again to offer, on behalf of these family members, the deep gratitude of your generosity. These 29 people, who are all surrendered to following the Lord Jesus Christ, will remember this tremendous blessing all their lives here on earth and will undoubtedly share the Good News how God sent his gift to set them free; automatically relaying this to the Gospel which they have received, wherein they learned of God sending the Gift of His Beloved Son to free them from the slavery of sin.
Normally, recipients of this program have remained in the same community and volunteered services within our mission work, but due to the issues of safety in this particular situation, we deem it best to let them depart to another city. However, we will be keeping in touch with Kasheef and his family to ensure their safety and confirm the integrity of their word.
Not only will these 29 people remember your gift, but they will share this testimony with others who will then hear the Gospel message, bringing many more sons to glory. And because of this better news, God will be glorified, and you will be rewarded for your faithful giving towards such a mission. I weep with joy thinking of your reward, not merely your financial blessings in the here and now, but more so of the heavenly reward you will reap when you meet these people (and all the ones who came to Christ through their testimony) face to face being received in open embrace when we all shall be together in Glory.

Update April 18th, 2022:
Special thanks to River of Life Church in West Point, KY and to City Gate Church in Gallatin, TN, and all our other supporters, we have now raised above our goal to fully release the family from custody, pay off their slavery debt, and to purchase a brand new Rickshaw for them to sustain their own personal business. The family has chosen to sell their current home and move to a different city. We will still have contact with them to ensure their safety and stay in touch with their new developments.
What I am most thrilled about is that some of these family members, especially the young children, were previously unconverted namesake Christians, but now after hearing the news of how God’s people showed them love by releasing them from jail, and with our pastor sharing the Gospel of how God himself showed his love to them by sending his Son to free them from the slavery of sin, every single one of them have either rededicated or surrendered their life to Christ for the first time.
I just can’t help but weep in the glory of God at the anticipation of rewards all of our partners shall walk into in Glory because of these new disciples going out in their communities and sharing the news of how Jesus saved them and then bringing many more sons to glory through their testimonies. It is because of your support these things are possible and we offer our highest gratitude to you all. May the Lamb receive the reward for his suffering!

P.S. Once we gather more footage from our team overseas and finalize all legal paperwork, we will release the next update.
“I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
UPDATE Feb 28th, 2022:
Right now, 29 men, women and children are being held in jail for false accusations, and their young children (especially Essen and Sanya) are held in unjust custody - our team on the ground recently made contact with the family and was able to bring some food and first aid care. We are relieved to report the children are with their parents.
We have raised $1,500 to retain a lawyer to help begin working on this case to free these families from false imprisonment.
We will need a total of $12,000.00 USD to release this family from custody, and to completely free them from peshgi bondage. This breaks down to roughly $350 each individual life. If paid in full, a court judge will sign documents preventing any retaliation from adversaries and give the family opportunity to begin a fresh life in a new region.
Pledged: $5,000
Received: $5,100
Remaining: $6,900
Of course, your prayers are of utmost priority and of the highest request.
First, pray that these brothers and sisters in unjust custody will be kept safe and strengthened in their spirits.
Pray that they will have opportunities to witness for Christ and minister peacefully to the guards and captors.
Pray that the children would be protected from all harm, relieved from trauma, and kept healthy.
Pray for supernatural favor with lawyers and legal authorities
Pray for our pastors and ministers and their families to be kept safe during their involvement in this case.
The Background Story

The Background Story * * * *
Happy in Jesus, faithful servant
Many of you following our ministry remember the recent story of Yasmen who was confronted by radicals yet refused to deny Jesus and was thrown into the fires of the very brick kiln to which she was enslaved. She soon died from the infections of the severe burns all over her body. As her body continued to decline into weakness and her organs began to fail, Yasmen began to reflect upon the imminent. The Gospel she had received from the beginning was that as Christ had given his life for her, she was willing to give her life for him. Upon her dying breath with her pastor holding her hands praying with her, Yasmen faintly whispered her final words, “I see angels coming to receive me into the hands of my Lord. I am happy to die for Jesus.”
“fear not them which kill the body”
Thanks to your support and contributions, we were able to grant a gift of benevolence to Yasmen’s family to help offset the costs of her burial and medical debt.
Kaseef, Yasmen’s husband, still continued laboring in the brick yard, now a widower caring for his 3 year old boy, Essen, and 9 month old daughter, Sanya, by himself having to frequently pause his work during the long day to feed and change the baby. This put him further behind in his daily quotas, so more pressure was put on him by his master. Soon, word got around that Kaseef received our gift to pay for the funeral, but the jealous rage-filled radicals insisted that Kaseef’s and Yasmen’s families must have had some hidden riches to pay these (miniscule) expenses and they, like Haman’s plot against Mordecai (see Esther chapters 3-7), have twisted the arm of local authorities to have them taken into unjust legal custody. Unfortunately, the pattern in many of these Eastern countries is “guilty until proven innocent”, which is quite backwards from what Westerners are accustomed to.
